So our debate about whether or not to paint the panelling in the hall has been ongoing since even before we moved in a year ago. I adore the wood but it is a very dark stain. And I'm afraid that paining it will lose part of its charm. But at the same time it is so dark that you still can't appreciate it cos you can't even see it! Such a challenge. The fear is that if we do paint it and want it back to wood.. it would be such a job and expensive too! So for now we might just repaint the walls and re assess. It can always be painted later once we are sure right?
