Warm hugs tonight as it's so cold all day today. But yesterday we had a bunch of friends over for dinner and chat and it was lovely catching up and enjoying the cosy red dining room. More mad ramblings on my stories today btw hopefully will be nearly finished with the top bedroom soon and can show you all. Omg it's Halloween... I've not done a single thing for it! How lame am i?!?!

What a beautiful day and I spent part of it painting the upstairs bedroom wardrobes. Have a look on my stories for more ramblings of a mad man. We have guests over for dinner tomorrow so... Do you think it will be done in time? Can anyone send help? Good luck charms? Magic?

Hallway boom! So happy with the way this hall has turned out! You can just about see the 6ft long Japanese map up there. It's just waiting the carpet to arrive from JL and the small issue of refitting a brand new front door replica.... Anyway so glad am off tomorrow... Big plans afoot.... Can you guess? Btw my previous post spontaneously deleted itself!! ๐Ÿ’”Which is why I'm posting again sorry xx #interiordesign #interiors #instadecor #interiorforall  #instahome #housetour  #interior4all #theworldofinteriors #interiordecoration #sorealhomes #eclecticinteriors #myspaceanddecor #walltowallstyle #interiorboom #nestandthrive #hyggeinteriors #beautifulhomesofinstagram #styleithappy #interior123 #colourmyhome #apartmenttherapy #myinteriorstyletoday #periodhome #myperiodhomestyle #myinteriorstyletoday #traditionalhome #howivintage #styleitdark #darkinteriors #deliciousdarkdecor

Hello out there?! My engagement seems to have flatlined so if you are out there and can see me.. let me know as there might be an embargo on my posts. Here's a photo from earlier on today cos let's face it.. it's too dark for photos at this time of day. I've been back at it in the front garden with more digging and planting... Hopefully the plants will enjoy it there and grow happily. ๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒด๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’ฎ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒผ

About last night.... Yesterday was interesting, without prior planning or intention I started pulling up the blockwork at the front garden to create planting space for a new much needed hedge I've gone for variety and colour and despite the plants being only little I have big ambitions for them. After a mini break for a delicious luncheon with an old pal and a few more hours of digging and planting (to much enjoyment of the school kids passing by) it was all finished. I'll show you on my stories in a bit. The evening ended by opening a bottle of Maltese Cheval Franc and planning our honeymoon... Can you guess where we are going?

Morning from sunny Manchester! I did a good thing yesterday, while all the scaffolding is up I took the opportunity to deep clean the windows from the outside @mrshinchhome_x_ would have been proud.... But I did do it at dusk so today will be the proof of the pudding.

Morning y'all!! Sorry I've been on hiatus, combination of being on holiday and losing my phone charger meant no photos or insta for a a while. Sometimes it's quite good to not have a phone on you for a while and just be. Now we're back in blighty and as you can see the light is so different to Malta and that is one of the things I miss so much about that island, the light. Hope you are having a peaceful Sunday xx

Blood red to make your passions flow. I adore designing and making spaces feel unique bespoke and personal. Our dining room definitely is this for me. I painted these walls, I hand upholstered those chairs. I hung each piece of glass in the chandelier, I hacked those IKEA shelves to fit our alcoves. But this wouldnt be possible without the support and encouragement from my OH. Thank you for always encouraging me to follow my passions and live a fulfilled life.

Morning from blustery Cheshire. I've got all the feels for plonking down on this sofa and sipping coffee all morning. Anyone else find the lower light intensity really affecting your energy levels? I'm gonna force myself to go to the gym to give myself a bit of a boost today!

Isn't this ceiling really beautiful? This is the warehouse of a lovely timber yard who were super help at helping me sort out my broken finial from my roof. They don't have an Instagram but if you need their help just pop by their showroom. #notanad

Morning I've definitely got the lurgy! Am sat shivering under the duvet sipping hot lemon and honey with more cold and flu tablets! Send chicken soup and tissues. I believe a b&w photo works well with my noir illness ๐Ÿค’ And yes I'm aware that manflu kills millions every year .. I'm as pathetic as the rest of them!

I know I must be crazy right two posts in 1 day!! I decided to get my sorry arse off the sofa and go for a power walk in this gorgeous day down to @ntdunhammassey and the village around it. So beautiful seeing the leaves turn colours and all the berries out. Now am sat on my porch with a brew and soaking up the sun ☕

Current view! I'm sick! And just want someone to being me hot soup! So am sat here on the sofa drugging up with cold and flu medicine hoping I'll feel better later. Such a lovely day I wanted to go for a run! I guess I'll just watch the leaves falling to the ground from inside.

A different shot in the dining room today. I adore how this colour from @farrowandball has such richness and depth❣️❣️❣️. It it's quite a big room and north facing so I wanted it to be dramatic and warm. Nothing gets warmer than the steamy Rectory red on these walls. This table has hosted many an empassioned discussion fuelled with copious wine๐Ÿท and delicious dinners ๐Ÿ. It's so nice to have a proper dining space to entertain in, and with the mad medusa chandelier๐ŸงŸ overhearing our every word...may we host many more yet!✌️
