Does my butt look big in this!? Heres a shot of the back of the house. French doors and bifolds wide open. Sam is working from home and being Mr Industrious while I frolic like an idiot after my night shift slightly delirious at the joy of being in the sun. Hope y'all get to enjoy it while it lasts haha ππππ

A not so common shot for my kitchen. Outside looking in easiest done when the bifolds are fully open and the sunshine is streaming through. This room was very monochrome to a point of austerity wheh we moved in but by introducing the lovely broght carper and vintage cabinet with some greenery uts softening the look slightly and making it more homely.

Leaving Malta is always a strange feeling. A mixture of liberation and nostalgia. Missing friends, family, the sea and the warm light, having breakfast outside and blue skies. Also looking forward to enjoying the British greenery, sense of space and privacy. Its strange having two homes quite different from eachother both culturally, environmentally and socially. I appreciate its also a massive blessing to have so much love available in so many pleaces with ample options. πππΊπ«π

Morning!!! Hope everyone has a lovely day. Have your tulips in the garden sprouted as mine are still π΄π΄ so here are some from @waitrose. There is a big movement towards faux flowers and I do appreciate the benefits of not having to change the water and not having the upkeep of fresh flowers but can they really beat a fresh bouquet? For those of you who have used them or choose them exclusively how did the pro v cons list go?

But its been manic and off on minication tomorrow so I'm just faffing aboout running up and dow the house doing chores as I hate returning to a messy house after a vacation. Hows everyones weeks going? Any exciting news or plans? I might end up here later with a glass of vino! haha

Happy easter y'all! ππ£ The table is set for a feast. Unironed linnen tablecloth, pastel tulips and candles at the ready. Sam has devised the menu of spiced tuna cevice on smashed avocado with crostini to start, 8hr slow cooked lamb marinated in red wine and spices, charred aubergine with saffron yoghurt and pomegranate salad and garlic+mint roast potatoes. Ive helped by making a massive mess initially... but its all sorted now. Hoping the 3rd beast of snow doesnt land... or should it make work quieter later.
